Following our meeting in the Old School, Mullaghmore, County Sligo, on the 26th February 2024, our new group has been launched.

It was decided that the name – Friends of Inishmurray – was a good respresentation of what the group wants to achieve.

Our vision is to help to conserve, preserve and promote this wonderful, biodiverse and historically significant island.

We plan to do this in a transparent way, adopting a partnership approach to support all the other stakeholders who have a responsibility for the safekeeping of Inishmurray.
